Nina Dobrev Reflects On Crazy 'Vampire Diaries' Year, Looks Ahead To Bonnie's Return
Oh, what a difference a year makes! Though we've been completely enthralled with the goings on in Mystic Falls, Virginia, for the better part of two seasons, the time period within "The Vampire Diaries" has lapsed only one year. (Hard to believe, right!?) Star Nina Dobrev can hardly believe it herself, telling us as much when she stopped by the MTV Newsroom recently to chat about her work with Puma's Project Pink. She not only reflected on the changes for her character, Elena, but teased a bit of the upcoming action, as well.
"It's summer in Mystic Falls, and everyone is kind of gearing up to start school again," Nina explained. "It's been a year since we first started the show, so it's kind of weird. It's odd because a year has passed and the circumstances are so different. Elena's a senior this year. She doesn't have a boyfriend and her life has changed so much."
Indeed it has! But, thankfully, one reassuring presence will return to Elena's life. "Bonnie is back...she usually goes away on the holiday and spends time with her estranged father."
We've totally missed Bonnie, and those brief glimpses of her via web cam just haven't been enough. But! What we really want to know is, when will Bonnie find out about Jeremy's ghosts of girlfriends past? I guess we'll just have to tune in to find out!
