This week’s episode of The Vampire Diaries kicks off with Professor Maxfield conducting experiments on newbie vampire Jesse.
As a newly turned vampire, Jesse is at the peak of his blood lust, craving human blood. Maxfield has left Jesse without blood for three whole days, taking note of his changes and keeping track of him.
Maxfield says that Jesse is the perfect candidate, but perfect candidate for what?
In a happier scene, we see a freshly returned Tyler making up for lost time with Caroline in her college dorm. Caroline questions Tyler about his plans for college but he tries to change the subject.
After class, Elena walks past Megan’s memorial wall. She spots a guy there and quizzes him about Megan. He reveals they were childhood friends and he doesn’t believe that Megan killed herself.
Silas calls Nadia and demands her to hand over Katherine. Katherine doesn’t see what the big deal is and insists on giving a drop of blood to him if it will make him go away.
Nadia reveals that Silas will need more than a little drop of blood to be cured, insisting that he will need to drink all her blood, which will cause her to die. Katherine is shocked by this news as expected. It’s obvious that she fears death more than anything.
